Mobile deposit is a great way to save time for personal or business use. Rather than driving or walking to your local branch, you can use mobile deposit to get those checks into the bank. For businesses, this can also be a real money saver, as you don’t have to pay an employee the time it takes to go to the bank or handle the transaction.

In many cases, depending on the number of checks you’re depositing, it can really cut down on the amount of paperwork you need to do, as well as transcription mistakes from the check to your ledger. You’re also much less likely to lose the check if you deposit it immediately, rather than keep it in a pile or envelope before taking it to the bank.

An added bonus is that mobile deposit is available when you are. While checks deposited through our app after 3 p.m. will be processed on the next business day, you still have increased flexibility if you like to do your bookwork at night.

You can deposit your checks right then at 11 p.m. in the comfort of your own home or office and know that the bank will pick them up right at the open of business. You didn’t even have to drop them off at the overnight box!
